SalesboxAI Services

SalesboxAI collects personal information as a data processor pursuant to specific written service provider agreements with our clients. When acting as a data processor for our clients, we collect cookie identifiers from individuals who have opted in to cookie collection. We collect, process, and use this personal information in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the agreement between SalesboxAI and the client who is acting as the data controller. We may transfer personal information that we collect on behalf of our clients to our clients, or to companies that help us provide our Services. These transfers of personal information are covered by the service provider agreements with our clients, and additional agreements with the third party receiving the personal information where required by applicable law.

If you are a customer of one of any one of our clients and would no longer like to be contacted by our client, please contact the client that you interact with directly. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct their query to the SalesboxAI client who is acting as the data controller. If requested to remove data, we will respond as required by applicable law.

We will retain personal information collected on behalf of our clients for as long as needed to provide services to any one of our clients or as otherwise authorized, directed or permitted by our clients or by applicable law. In addition, SalesboxAI will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

 

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including information:

  • By which you may be personally identified, such as name, job title, postal address, e-mail address, or telephone number (“personal information”) (more detail is provided below under the heading “Categories of Personal Information We Collect”);

We do not collect protected classification characteristics under California law; commercial information; biometric information; geolocation data; sensory data, non-public education information; or inferences drawn from other personal information.

Information collected may include data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, your responses to advertisements delivered by us, date and time, referring URLs and other information normally transmitted in HTTP requests (“Usage Information”). This information may be associated with business profile information about you, such as your industry, company size, and job title. The purpose of this information is to keep the Services updated and interesting to our users and tailor content to each individual’s interests.

We use Local Storage Objects (“LSOs”) such as Flash to store content information and preferences. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site based upon your Web browsing activity use LSOs such as HTML 5 and Flash to collect and store information.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

The categories of personal information we may have sold or shared for a commercial purpose include identifiers collected directly from you, personal information categories identified in the California customer records statute, identifiers collected through use of the Services, professional or employment information such as current job title, and internet and other network activity.

 

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. Right to Know and Data Portability

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months (the “right to know”). Once we receive your request and confirm your identity (see Exercising Your Rights to Know, Correct, or Delete), we will disclose to you:

Exercising Your Rights to Know, Correct, or Delete

To exercise your rights to know, correct, or delete described above, please submit a request by:

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request to know, correct, or delete related to your personal information. You may also make a request to know, correct, or delete on behalf of your child.

You may only submit a request to know twice within a 12-month period. Your request to know, correct, or delete must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in the request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make it.

Response Timing and Format

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. If you do not receive confirmation within the 10-day timeframe, please contact [email protected]

We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.

The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

SalesboxAI is responsible for the Personal Data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. SalesboxAI complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions.

With respect to Personal Data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, SalesboxAI is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, SalesboxAI may be required to disclose Personal Data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

The data that SalesboxAI collects is generally in the category of business contact information of corporate employees which contains name, work e-mail and work phone number and is specified above in the “Categories of Personal Information We Collect” section.

  • Performing services for or on behalf of our clients, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, client communications, client relationship management, processing or fulfilling transactions, verifying identity information, processing payments, and other services.
  • Marketing our products: We use your information as necessary to pursue our legitimate interests in marketing our products to you. For example, where permitted by digital marketing law, we may contact you by email to let you know of products you might be interested in.
  • Providing, improving and developing our products: We use your information as necessary to pursue our legitimate interests in tailoring and improving our products. For example, we may send you a survey or questionnaire to understand your experience in purchasing from us.

The core activity of SalesboxAI involves processing of data related to purchase of different products for corporate use. This includes collection, aggregation, analysis, segmentation and intent monitoring. In the process of such processing, SalesboxAI adds value to the raw data that is collected from the business environment and converts it into value added business decision aiding information.

If any data has been anonymized, the value added anonymized data shall be considered as data for which SalesboxAI has legitimate interest to use for further research. Non-anonymized value added data remains subject to the exercise of data subject’s rights such as access, rectification, restriction, portability and erasure.

If you are located in the EU or UK, under certain circumstances, you have the right:

We transfer personal information to the categories of recipients identified above in Categories of Third Parties to Whom Personal Information is Disclosed.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for so long as is necessary to carry out the legitimate interests identified above. Personal data shall be retained in active process environment only for the minimal period for which it is required for processing. Thereafter, the data shall be archived securely as per the requirement identified under legitimate interest, for example until the project billing cycle is complete.

Subsequently, data shall be continued in secure archiving or destroyed as per the identified legitimate interest requirements of SalesboxAI. A monthly review of archived data shall be undertaken to identify data that is no longer required. Legal obligations on data retention shall be factored into the legitimate interest assessment.

SalesboxAI has designated individuals who receive emails directed to the [email protected] inbox and are the contacts to handle all data subjects requests and complaints. The core activity of SalesboxAI does not involve processing sensitive data on a large scale or involve large scale, regular, and systematic monitoring of EU and UK data subjects. Thus there is no requirement to designate a “Data Protection Officer” as envisaged under GDPR or UK GDPR at this time. Children Under the Age of 13

Our Services is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Services, register on the Services, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use.
